Who Is Dr. Hugh Sampson?

Dr. Hugh Sampson is an esteemed healthcare professional with a specialty in pediatric allergy and immunology. Dr. Sampson is currently a professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, as well as Director Emeritus of the Jaffe Food Allergy Institute. He is leading a pilot study on Exposure to Vaginal Microbiome in C-section Infants at High-risk for Allergies. The conditions for this trial are allergic diseases and asthma, and the treatments are C-section – Vaginal seeding, C-section – Placebo Seeding, and standard care.
